Days Inns - Canada is a proud supporter of Childhood Cancer Canada (CCC), an organization dedicated to improving the quality of life for children with cancer and their families as well as childhood cancer research. Since 2006, together with our hotel owners, staff and guests, we have donated over $457,000 to Childhood Cancer Canada.
This July, our annual campaign once again raised funds for Childhood Cancer Canada’s Survivor Scholarship Program. Over the past four years Days Inns - Canada has funded 112 scholarships for childhood cancer survivors in Canada. Each scholarship valued at $1,500 will help ease the financial burden for young cancer survivors in any university, college or vocational training program. Here’s what we did:
• During the week of July 11-17, 2016 Days Inn hotel owners from across Canada donated $1 from every room sold to help fund the Survivor Scholarship Program
• Give $10 Get 10%: For the month of July, guests donated $10 via text and received a special rate code for 10% of their next stay with Days Inn in Canada
Founded in 1987 by a mother who lost her child to cancer, CCC is a unique national charity exclusively supporting the fight against childhood cancer in Canada. CCC provides support programs, funds research and advocates for children and their families who are affected by cancer.
